Join the True team as a Plumbing Service Technician
True Plumbers & AC is hiring a Plumbing Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair pipes and fixtures for heating, cooling, water distribution, and sanitation systems in residential and commercial properties across Central Florida.
You will serve homeowners and businesses in Lakeland, Plant City, Wesley Chapel, and nearby Central Florida communities, inspecting drainage and plumbing systems for compliance with regulatory codes and leaving every job done right.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, and caulking
- Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances, and fixtures using hand and power tools
- Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks
- Direct helpers engaged in pipe cutting, preassembly, and installation of plumbing systems and components
- Keep records of work assignments
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 3+ years of plumbing experience
- Valid driver's license
- Able to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds
- Work well independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
